First steps
- Once you have agreed to join your apprenticeship or training programme, you will receive an email inviting you to activate your Aptem account. Watch the video below to see what to expect.
- Follow the step-by-step instructions in Activating your account to complete account activation at your own pace.
- Once your account is active, log in to Aptem and complete the onboarding process. This is where you share some details to help your tutors and the system support your training.
- Next, you will complete your Individual Learner Record (ILR). This captures key information about you and your upcoming training. See Completing the ILR and extended ILR for guidance.
The ILR (Individual Learner Record) is the record of your learning programme and your progress. The extended ILR is the second part of this record.
