As a learner, how can I view my employer's information?
You will be able to see your Tutor, Manager and Mentor's names in your dashboard. More information such your employers contact details can be seen in the Training Plan document under Documents.
Why is the messages tab missing from the console interface in the learner’s dashboard?
To enable the messages tab in the console interface and utilize this feature, the ‘Collaboration Centre’ token must be enabled on the programme that the learner is enrolled on. If this token isn't enabled, the messaging tab won't be visible in the learner’s dashboard.
A learner is not seeing the 'Start' button on a review component, why is this?
Learners can only Start / Continue a review from the Reviews grid currently and not from the Learning Plan component side panel.
Please note that the following conditions need to be met for the Start / Continue button to appear on the reviews grid for the learner -
- Visible to = Participant
AND - at least one review section is set to ‘Can Edit’ for Participant.
AND - Review Planned date fits ‘Allow editing prior to reviews’.
AND - Allow editing prior to reviews is not 0.
Why does the timeline widget on a learner’s dashboard card not update to reflect changes made to their ILR?
The Timeline widget is not configured to extract dates from ILR episodes; it exclusively considers the programme episode dates.
- Start = ''Start date'' from Programme Details
- Gateway = "Practical period end date" from Programme Details
- EPA = "Apprenticeship End date" from Programme Details
If a learning plan activity is deleted, is it possible to retrieve IQA or tutor feedback?
No, once the activity is deleted, you cannot retrieve any feedback submitted by a tutor or IQA.
Can a learner see the planned hours when submitting evidence?
There is currently no option within Aptem to show the learner the planned hours of a component when submitting evidence. This information could be entered in the description of learning plan component to ensure visibility.
Alternatively, learners can also check planned hours for the specific component in their training plan compliance document.
