When can a learner take a checkpoint?
Anytime - either when a tutor generates one or after completing a component in their learning plan.
How many checkpoints can a learner take?
There’s no limit. Tutors decide how often they’re taken and how many questions are included.
What does a learner receive after completing a checkpoint?
Currently, no certification or award is issued upon completion.
Can learners create their own checkpoints?
No, checkpoints must be created by tutors or admins.
Note:
Checkpoints only appear on a learner’s profile once completed.
Incomplete checkpoints are not displayed.
I am having trouble creating a manual checkpoint. What can I do?
Check the following:
You have the 'Manage Checkpoint', 'Supervisor', or 'Checkpoint Tutor' role.
The learner has 'Allow access to Checkpoint' enabled.
The learner's programme has pre-mapped criteria.
Checkpoint questions have been generated for those criteria.
