Apprenticeship Agreement v5

The Apprenticeship Agreement v5 shows current programme values for off-the-job training hours and the practical period end date, rather than the values fixed at enrolment. This keeps the Agreement consistent with the Training Plan after events such as a change of employer or a return from a break in learning.

Note: Agreement v5 is enabled by default. Contact your Customer Success Manager or Aptem contact if it is not visible.

Enable Agreement v5

Agreement v5 requires your Customer Success Manager to enable the relevant option on your tenant. Once enabled, you can select v5 when configuring compliance documents in Programme Builder.

Select Agreement v5 in Programme Builder

  1. Sign in to Aptem Console as an administrator.

  2. Open the relevant programme in Programme Builder.

  3. Go to the Compliance documents section.

  4. Select Apprenticeship Agreement v5 as the Agreement template.

  5. Save the programme.

Newly generated Agreements for learners on this programme will now show current programme values.

Important notes

  • Enabling Agreement v5 does not change existing signed Agreements. Only Agreements generated after enabling the option will use v5.

  • Agreement v5 works alongside Training Plan v2.1. When both are in use, the planned hours and practical period end date shown in both documents will be consistent.

  • If you do not enable Agreement v5, learners will continue to receive the standard Agreement showing the ILR values from enrolment.
