Quality Dashboard: Delivery Summaries with dynamic grouping

Overview

We are introducing a new Delivery Summaries page in the Quality Dashboard, giving administrators greater flexibility and control when analysing qualification delivery data.

What’s new?

Administrators can now dynamically group delivery data using a Group filter, allowing analysis across different organisational structures and learner characteristics they have permission to access.

Key enhancements include:

  • Dynamic Group Filter
Filter and group delivery data using selectable group levels, based on the groups available to the logged-in user.

  • Flexible Grouping Options
    Data can be grouped by:

    • Qualification (default)

    • Age Range

    • Disability

    • Ethnicity

    • Gender

  • Multi-level Grouping
Select one or more group levels at the same time.
The order of selection determines the grouping hierarchy, giving you full control over how the data is structured.

  • Real-time Updates
Changing the grouping instantly updates the table without requiring a page refresh, while maintaining strong performance.

  • Accurate Metrics
Learners who belong to multiple groups may appear in more than one grouping, but KPIs and summary metrics ensure each learner is counted only once.

  • Consistent Learner Visibility
Learner information remains available regardless of the grouping applied, making it easier to explore trends and drill into performance.

Why this matters?

This enhancement makes it significantly easier to analyse delivery performance across different organisational and demographic perspectives, helping administrators gain deeper insights without switching between multiple reports.

Looking ahead

In a future release, the following pages will be retired:

  • Delivery Table

  • Delivery Table (Ethnicity)

  • Delivery by Qualification

The new Delivery Summaries page provides equivalent functionality with added flexibility and will replace these views. Users are encouraged to familiarise themselves with Delivery Summaries ahead of this change.
