Why does an Assignment component go back to Not started when I mark it complete?
Likely cause: the Assignment (task) component was created in Programme Builder in Aptem Classic without a Complete By date. The date is the task's due date, so without it Aptem can't create the task. The component can only be completed once its task is created and completed.
What to do: set a Complete By date on the component in Programme Builder.

Why is the skills radar blank in Aptem Console after a learner completes a skills scan?
Likely cause: no competencies are set up in the Competencies token of the learner's programme.
What to do:
- Open the programme in Programme Builder in Aptem Classic.
- Go to the Competencies token.
- Start typing the competency's name in the search box.
- Select the competency, then select Add competency.
Check the learner's profile in Aptem Console. The skills radar now shows the programme's competencies.
The skills radar only shows competencies from the learner's current programme. To show competencies from an earlier programme, add them to the current programme in the same way, if you want to apply to all learners on the same programme. Alternatively, access the user profile, select Competencies and add them at a learner level.

Why can't learners see a criteria set when Show criteria set to learners is turned on?
Likely cause: Show criteria set to learners is applied once, when a learner is first enrolled. If it was off when they enrolled, turning it on later doesn't show the criteria set to them.
What to do: change it for each learner in Aptem Classic:
- Open the learner's profile from the Users tile.
- Select Learning plan overview next to the programme.
- At the top of the learning plan, tick Show to learner for each criteria set the learner should see.
Managing programmes
Why can't I delete a programme?
Likely cause: the programme is the default programme for one or more groups.
What to do:
- In Aptem Classic, go to the Groups tile.
- Find each group with this programme as its Default Programme.
- Remove the programme from the Default Programme field.
- Delete the programme.
Programmes can only be deleted once no learners are enrolled on them.
