Adding the EPAO registration number so that the training plan is updated

The EPAO registration number needs to be recorded in the End-Point Assessment (EPA) Activity of the Learning Plan. To ensure the EPAO name and address appear correctly on the Training Plan, you need to add an End-Point Assessment activity in the Learning Plan. This should be linked to the EPA organisation, which must first be set up as a training organisation in the Organisation tile. If you have multiple end point assessment activities, the linked organisation from the first will be the one that shows in the Training Plan.

Managing Multiple EPAOs

• Only one EPAO can be included in a single Training Plan document.
• If your programme allows for multiple EPAOs, you have two options:
  • Leave the EPAO fields in the Training Plan empty initially, then update the document once the EPAO is confirmed in the End-Point Assessment (EPA) Activity of the Learning Plan.
    OR
  • Create multiple programmes, and link each to the relevant EPAO.

Important Considerations

There can be a mismatch if the EPAO code in the ILR does not match the linked organisation in the Training Plan. To prevent this, it is advisable to include the EPAO code in the organisation name for quick reference.
