Usually, all available programmes are added to the Root Group during implementation, which allows all "child" groups to have access to the programmes. However, if you add a single programme to a "child group" this breaks the connection, and you will need to follow the instructions below to assign new programmes to groups individually.
If the connection has been broken and you want a new programme to be visible in the list of programmes within a specific group, you'll need to link it to that group. For example, let's say you have a group named "GroupABC." To include your new programme within this group, navigate to the group management section.
In the group management section, find and select the group you want to associate the programme with.
Once you've selected the group (e.g., "GroupABC"), look for an empty spot in the programme list section within the group settings.
Next, locate your new programme by using the search functionality or scrolling through the available options. Once you find it, simply add it to the list. After adding the programme, save the changes to ensure it's now linked to the group.
Now, when creating a learner and selecting the relevant group during the learner's setup, your newly added programme will be visible in the list of programmes.
Troubleshooting tip
If a programme does not appear when enrolling a learner, it is usually because the programme has not been added to the learner’s group.
Ensure that the programme has been assigned to the correct group using the steps above. Once the programme is linked to the group, it will become available when enrolling learners.
