If a learner does not return on the specified date after an automation tracker for Return to Learning has been processed, the return date must be manually adjusted.
This requires:
- Updating the ILR with the correct return date.
- Modifying the Programme End Date in the Programme Details screen.
- For epaPRO (Proficient) integrated tenants, updating the learner’s programme details in epaPRO platform.
- Adjusting the due dates of the learning plan components accordingly.
There is no automated process for handling this scenario. Raising another Break in Learning (BIL) and Return to Learning (RTL) tracker is not recommended, as this would create a new set of restart aims rather than modifying the existing restarted aims from the previous RTL tracker. Since the learner has not returned on the expected date, it is unnecessary to record another break in the ILR.
