Can learners skip the Aptem Assess onboarding step and return to it after signing the compliance documents?
Once the Aptem Assess token is enabled in your programme, you can add assessments as part of the onboarding wizard or from the learning support tab in the Learner profile.
If the Onboarding Wizard is set to mandatory in the programme builder, the Aptem Assess step must be completed before proceeding to the next onboarding step and signing the compliance documents.
However, if the assessment step is not included in the onboarding wizard, the learner does not have to complete the assessment before signing the compliance documents. You can then add them from the learning support tab in the Learner profile. Once a learner is assigned an assessment, they will receive instructions on what to expect and how to complete it.
Can learners view their Aptem Assess score or report?
Learners do not have access to view their Aptem Assess score or report. Tutors or admins can view the results via the Cognitive Assessment Report section within the Learning Support tab of the learner’s profile in Console and discuss the results with the learner as required.
How do you remove the 'Cognitive Assessment Incomplete' marker from the Requires Attention card for one learner?
If the Aptem Assess token is enabled at programme level, and added as a step in the Onboarding wizard, then you cannot remove the outstanding 'Cognitive Assessment Incomplete' marker for learners on an individual basis.
In order to remove the marker for this one learner you would need to have the Assessment step/Assess disabled in the onboarding wizard (within the programme build), stop the learner's programme, and then put them back onto the programme. You should then find the marker is gone and you are given the option to register the learner for Cognitive Assessment via the Learning Support tab of their profile.
It is recommended to stop and re-apply the learner's programme using the Aptem Classic user interface, as if done in Console, it will ask you to create a tracker (Change of programme or Withdrawal from learning).
