Overview

When an admin uses the learning plan synchronisation tool to add or change a linked marking aid exercise for component(s) across multiple learners, the updates will sync as per the usual process.

If ‘Apply only changes’ mode is selected, criteria mappings and documents will sync only if amended prior to initiating synchronisation - consistent with standard component field behaviour.

Note about evidence

In case an exercise link is being updated for a component, and the admin is synchronizing the change across multiple learners, and any learner has already submitted their evidence for the currently linked exercise, the admin is informed about there being a submission present. In such a case, the outstanding marking can be completed or any feedback present addressed.

Once exercise link change is confirmed, the evidence type linked to the exercise being removed will be transformed to appropriate evidence type in Aptem:

  • If evidence has been marked and pdf file downloaded, evidence type will be transformed to a document.
  • If marking was not completed, evidence type will get transformed to note and access to data submitted against the exercise will be lost.
  • New submission will need to be provided by learner and marked accordingly against newly linked exercise for component to be complete.

Unmarked or marked versions of PDF

Admins can select the clean (unmarked) and marked (with feedback) versions of a marking aid exercise attempt PDF. The clean (unmarked) attempt PDF is the default when the evidence is selected. The marked (with feedback) attempt PDF can be optionally selected to include in the export (this will export all attempts with feedback).

A “Select All” option is available in the column header to quickly include marked feedback across all applicable evidence.
