Learners, tutors, and admins will be able to access checkpoint data at different levels – programme, cohort, and individual learner – to help monitor and assess progress.

On the programme summary page, administrators and tutors can view a high-level summary of checkpoint activity for the programmes they are linked to. This access is controlled by the View all learners in groups role.

This functionality provides a clear view of progress across a whole programme, which may highlight areas where curriculum improvements are needed.

Tutors and learners can access checkpoint data from both current and previous programmes within the summary reports. By default, the filter shows only the current programme, but this can be adjusted to include past programmes. This enables better tracking of learner progress over time.

Access

These reports are available to users with an admin role who have the relevant checkpoint permissions.

Tutors will only see reports for learners they are directly associated with, maintaining strict data confidentiality and integrity.

However, tutors with the ‘Tutor Console - View All in Assigned Group(s)’ permission can view checkpoint reporting data for all learners visible to them through their assigned groups. This means they do not need to be the learner’s case owner to access this information.

Navigation

To access checkpoint reporting, use the menu on the left-hand side of your screen and select ‘Checkpoint’.
