Review and export flagged items in concern management

Overview

When AVA flags a potential concern, it appears in the concern management area. Users with the Concern management permission can view each flagged item, record a review decision, and export flagged data.

History

  1. Navigate to Concern management.

  2. The list of flagged items opens. For each item, you can see:

    • the reference number

    • the date and time the item was raised

    • the status

    • the outcome

    • the reviewed on date

    • the reviewed by date

You can sort by any column except the reviewed on date.

Each flagged item has a unique reference number in the format CM00000. Reference numbers are never reused, even after an item is deleted.

View a flagged message in context

  1. Select an item in the list or select view in Items to review

  2. The flagged message opens with additional information:

    • reference number

    • date and time of raising

    • dase owner

    • time until deletion

    • the message

    • a review outcome selection

Record a review decision

New items show as Not reviewed until someone records a decision.

  1. Open the flagged item.

  2. Select Action required or No action required.

  3. The decision is saved and shown in the list.

You can change or clear a decision at any time. Every change is recorded in the history log.

When you sort by review decision, items show in this order: Not reviewed, then Action required, then No action required.

A review decision records your assessment of the concern. Any follow-up should be managed through your organisation's own safeguarding procedures.

Export flagged data

To export, you need both the Concern management permission and the Data export permission.

  1. In the concern management area, select Export [label to confirm].

  2. The flagged data downloads as a CSV file.

Flagged items are deleted automatically 90 days after they are raised. Export any data you need to keep before then.
