Assignment (task) activity fields
The following fields are available to you in this activity:
- Completion mode*
- Evidence required
- Minimum No. Of Evidence
- Complete By *
- Planned Hours
- Activity Owner
- Create a Task
Note: To be marked as complete, the Task has to be marked as completed by the Learner or Tutor
This field allows you to determine how the activity status is updated. You can choose from two options:
- If set to "All Evidence Accepted," completing the task is mandatory for the component to be marked as complete.
- If set to "Tutor Decides," the Tutor/Admin has the option to complete the component even without the task. However, if the Evidence Required option is enabled, they can't manually complete the component until the 'minimum no. of evidence' condition is satisfied, and the evidence is marked against the mapped criteria. Note that if the Submitted Evidence has not been mapped to all criteria, the ‘Complete Component’ button will not be visible.

Tick the “Evidence required” box if the activity requires evidence to be provided and marked in order for this activity to be completed. Defaults to 1 (checked).
