Overview
To edit an activity, you need the Advanced Delivery Management (Edit) role.
Select the activity card. On the side panel that opens to the right, select the options icon ⋮ at the top right. The options available depend on the activity type and your assigned roles.
Select Edit activity.
The Edit activity page opens. You can edit and update any field except Activity type. You can also edit the map criteria section.

Update the relevant fields and select Save changes.
Note about changes to the Complete by field
- Changing the completion dates updates the learning plan accordingly. Activities will move between month panels or become overdue, and learning plan progress statistics will also be affected.
- If your organisation has enabled this feature, changing the Complete by field requires you to provide a reason for the change.
- The reason is recorded and can be viewed on the Edit activity screen.
- The options in the Reason for change dropdown can be configured at the account programme level. To enable this feature and define the list of reasons, contact your implementation consultant or support.
Note about task-based components
For task-based components, update the task due dates to match the component's Complete by date.
To change the due date for a task, select the Edit button on the task. Using the ellipsis icon edits the date on the component, not the task.
Changing the component type after creation is not possible. If you have the Advanced Delivery Management (Delete) role, you can delete the incorrectly created component and create a new one with the correct type.
Deleting an activity
To delete an activity, you need the Advanced Delivery Management (Delete) role.
Select the activity card. On the side panel that opens to the right, select the options icon ⋮ at the top right. The options available depend on the activity type and your assigned roles.
Select Delete activity.
A confirmation dialog opens. Select Yes to confirm deletion, or No to cancel.
Note: deleting an activity removes all evidence and learner data associated with it.
Audit trail for learning plan components
Deleted components can be identified by checking the Audit history tab on the learner's profile in the console.
