Tasks - Overview

As a tutor, you can view your own calendar, your group's calendar, or a learner's calendar. You can create and edit tasks across different views and mark them as complete. Marking a task as complete stops the overdue notification reminders sent to both you and the learner.

To view your tasks, select Tasks from the left menu. To view a learner's tasks, select Tasks from the learner navigation menu on their record.

The Tasks screen shows events and tasks that involve you or require your input, including reminders for meetings, phone calls, and progress reviews. Your calendar is automatically populated with tasks relating to your learners.

You can view tasks in a calendar view or switch to a Day, Week, Month, or Agenda layout.

A chronological list of tasks is also shown on the right. Select a card in either the calendar or the list to view its details.

You can also add a new task or edit an existing task.

Note: where tasks have been created from a learning plan activity, update the task information through the learning plan activity rather than directly on the task. Editing the task directly removes the link between the task and the learning plan activity, and they will be treated as separate items. The relevant role for editing learning plan activities must also be assigned.
