When you clone an assignment task or placement workshop component and add a recurrence, why does the "upload document" button disappear?
By design, uploading a document is not allowed when cloning a component or using the recurrence feature. If you want the document to be available in each component, we advise you to manually add the document to each individual component after creation.
We strongly advise against storing documents in large quantities on individual components, as doing so can create difficulties when managing them in the event of future changes. Instead, we suggest utilising the Resource Centre to store documents. This centralised location will make the documents easily accessible to all learners in one place.
When creating a task or workshop component at programme level, why is the Upload Document button not present when using the reoccurrence feature?
Uploading a document is not permitted by design if you are cloning a component or using the reoccurrence feature.
We advise you to not store documents on components en masse as this may become a problem with document management for customers. We suggest using the 'Documents' section or the 'Resource Centre', as it is easier to link to documents that are stored centrally on customers' own systems.
