Add a Functional skills exemption to a learner’s profile

To let learners add their Functional Skills exemptions during onboarding, enable the Functional Skills step in the Onboarding Wizard for their programme.

To change an exemption after onboarding, see Manually amend a learner's Functional Skills exemption.

For an exemption to show on the learner's Training Plan, make the learner exempt before they start onboarding.

If a learner already has an assessment date for a Functional Skills qualification, the exemption can't be set to Yes on their Training Plan. This applies even if you change it in the Qualification section of the programme details. Any previous results show in the Learning Support section of the learner's profile.
