Do learners receive notification emails when their work has been marked and there is feedback for them?
Learners will not receive email notifications when their work has been marked and feedback has been left for them.
They will however receive a notification when they are logged into Aptem informing them that work has been marked with the feedback provided.
These notifications with the feedback included can be viewed by clicking on the bell icon in the top right corner of the screen -
Learners can also view the notifications and feedback by accessing their Messages in Aptem, and then clicking the 'Show notifications' toggle.
Do Managers and/or Mentors receive notifications to sign Compliance Documents and Reviews?
Managers will receive notifications when either Compliance Documents or Reviews require signing, whereas Mentors do not receive these notifications.
Regarding messaging in Console, can a new case owner see system notifications for a learner for the period during a previous case owner?
No, when a learner is transferred to a new Case Owner, the new Case Owner doesn’t then get access to previous system notifications. Previous notifications are visible for the previous case owner only from their account. This is both due to technical reasons, i.e., who the messages/notifications were originally sent to and to align with the current and existing privacy controls for messages.
A learner's previous coach/tutor are still receiving notifications when the learner submits evidence. Why?
In Classic
This will happen if the learner’s case owner has been changed in Classic as the owner of all the components associated with the assigned delivery programme are moved to the new case owner, however if there are any sub-programme components, then the case owner for these will not be automatically changed to the new case owner.
In order to resolve this, the case owner for the components linked to sub-programmes will have to be updated manually.
In Console
If the learner's case owner is changed in Console, the same thing will happen with the components associated with the assigned delivery programme, however the user will be advised of the presence of sub-programme components and will be asked if they would like to assign the learner's sub-programmes to the new case owner also.
To avoid this issue, we would suggest using Aptem Console to change case owners, where possible.
