Overview
The Learners page shows a summary of all the learners you are responsible for, and any learners you have been given permission to view.
Navigation
Select Learners from the side bar to navigate to this section.
The learners grid lists all the learners you are responsible for. Up to 10 learners are shown per page. To navigate the list, you can:
- use the pagination controls at the bottom of the screen
- use sorting
- use searching and filtering
Select a learner's name to open their dashboard.
Grid overview
The learners grid displays information about each learner across several columns. Select a column header to sort by that column where sorting is available.
Programme start date and programme end date
These columns show the start and end dates of each learner's programme.
Manager name and work coach name
These columns show the names of the learner's manager and work coach.
Programme status
This column shows the learner's current programme status.
Learning plan progress
This column displays a progress infographic showing percentage completion of the learning plan. The horizontal red line indicates progress made; the vertical line shows the target. The number on the right shows the percentage completed.
Hover over the infographic to see more detail about the learner's progress against their target.
Sorting
You can sort the learners grid by learner/programme, manager name, work coach name, and programme status. Select a column header to sort by that column.
The default sort order is by learner ID. When sorted by learner/programme, learners are ordered by last name then first name.
Searching and filtering
Use searching or filtering to narrow down your learner list.
To search by name, start typing in the search field. Results appear after you enter the first three characters.
Quick filters
Use the My learners and Groups quick filters to narrow your results.
The Learners filter lets you switch between Managed by me and All learners:
- If you are not assigned as a line manager to any learners, the default is All learners.
- If you are assigned as a line manager to one or more learners, the default is Managed by me, which shows only the learners you manage directly.
The options available are limited by your role and access level. For example, All learners is only visible if you have the View All Learners role.
The Groups filter lets you view details for one or more employer groups or sub-groups. It is a multi-select field and defaults to all employer groups you have access to.
Detailed filters
Select Filters at the top of the screen to open the filters panel on the right. You can filter by programme, groups, learners, learner groups, manager, and status.
You can apply multiple filters at the same time. The grid updates to reflect all active filters.
To clear a single filter, hover over the field and select the × that appears. To clear all filters, select Clear filters.
