Aptem basics: Learning Plans - marking, assessing, progress, component completion
During this webinar, Steve Ford, Senior Customer Support Consultant at Aptem, took attendees through Aptem’s Learning Plan functionality, and provided troubleshooting tips when marking evidence, assessing learners, tracking progress, and marking components as complete.
The following is a transcript of the questions asked during the webinar, along with Steve's answers. For any further information, do contact your IC or support.
Does miscellaneous on the components mean any evidence can be uploaded and submitted?
No - this activity type is typically used if the administrator or coach wishes to record evidence and does not want to use any of the existing types.
Do we have to create the individual component when we add a learner to a workshop in classic?
This can vary - usually the component has been built at programme level, so it already exists. Check with whomever builds your Learning plans.
So, if we set as 'All Evidence is Accepted', should it be all evidence accepted - Not require marking? Otherwise, it’s not all evidence accepted.
Aptem will not mark the evidence - it has no way of knowing if it is correct or not.
When you set up a group session can evidence of attendance be mapped into all learners attending - without adding individually?
If you enrol a learner on a workshop and the workshop is linked to a component, this will occur.
