FAQ: How do I merge two Employer Organisations into one?

In order to complete this task, firstly, please confirm that the EDRS numbers for both organisations are the same. If you are merging two organisations, the EDRS should match both, or you will encounter issues with the ILR.

 

Secondly, you will need to take note of the specified manager and mentor for any learners being moved to the new organisation. This information will disappear after you make the last change, so it's important to have this information noted.

 

Next, you will need to select the correct organisation when editing the Employer's account details. This will mean ticking the correct box next to the organisation they are supposed to be linked to.

 

Lastly, please correct the name of the Employer specified in the Employer field of the Learner's account details, and then add the Manager and Mentor information you previously noted.
