Dashboards including Aptem’s new Performance Dashboard
In this webinar, the Aptem Product Team walked through Aptem's dashboard functionality, including Aptem's new Performance Dashboard, Employer Dashboard, Tutor Dashboard and Learner Dashboard.
The following is a transcript of the questions asked during the webinar, along with the experts' answers. For any further information, do contact your IC or support.
Are there different levels of employer access? We have an employer access for the line manager of a learner. I would also want to set up the Head of Learning and Development who is not a line manager to see all progress for learners on programme with this client.
Yes you can. Using the 'Employer Groups' functionality, you can set the access that an Employer Login has to view learners across their organisation.
Is progress % based on components signed off or based on the mapping that has been done against the Standard or FS?
For the Learning Plan Progress this is looking at 'Activities' on the Learning Plan. For the Progress panel, this is looking at criteria mapping against the standard and/or qualifications.
How do I delete calendar tasks overdue? I still have overdue ones showing even through the visit has been completed on the same date.
Open the Task in the calendar and select 'Delete'. Depending on who created the task you will find that you may not be able to delete it.
Will we be able to run a report for all learners to show expected progress vs actual progress for Standard, FS etc?
This can be achieved through the 'User Generic Reports' tile in Classic.
I cannot see the signatures required when I filter by reviews yet |I know there are some that need signing - am I doing something wrong?
Please ensure that you have access to all the relevant 'Groups’, and you have the relevant 'Roles' assigned to your account e.g., 'Ability to sign reviews on behalf of others'.
Is the learner lifecycle stage driven by dates in the system or are they selectable statuses somewhere?
Learner summary is driven by programme 'status'. Learner lifecycle is driven by the dates.
Can you filter by date the work was added?
You can sort by the 'Number of Days Since Evidence Was Submitted' column.
If I add feedback to the tutor when I've done a QA activity, will the learner also see the feedback?
No, the Learner will never see any QA feedback to a Tutor through the Learner console.
When I got to "Ready for IQ" where do I actually see the work that needs to be verified?
Once you have selected 'Ready for QA' you will be presented with the list of Learners that have Activities in this state. You can then select the learner record and from the Learning Plan you can start to view the evidence. Please note that carrying out the QA process is currently performed in the Classic view until a future update.
If we are using RAG rating on review forms will this show on the dashboard?
Yes, it will.
Could off the job hours logged be added to the requires marking report?
Thank you for the suggestion. We will consider this for a future update.
Is progress measured on a numerical count of units completed - or is there a weighting facility that can be applied to more complex units, for example.
Hi Paul. Progress is measured against components completed against the dates they were planned for, there is no weighting. You can of course use the individual progress bars against the standard and qualifications that Shaun is showing now to look in more detail at their progress.
Does Off the job hours include university days and study days?
Off the job hours planned will be those in the learning plan and in the ILR. The hours collected are those recorded against components and that are confirmed. What you need to do is ensure that all hours are recorded, be they study days, practice or University attendance against the learning plan components.
