Can you please show us where we can have a trainee IQA? We have trainee IQA whose work need to be countersigned by a qualified IQA.
There is no current role for a 'Trainee IQA'. This process would sit outside of Aptem. In the future we may consider adding this role and functionality once we have moved the QA process over to the new Console.
Can IQAs see the new console view?
Yes - IQAs can use the new Console view and use it to set up the 'QA Plan'. Later this year they will be able to carry out the full 'QA Process' in Console. Please see: Quality Assurance.
The description for verified and referred is the same, should the referred one say not accepted?
Yes! That's right. Good spot.
Is there a way to upload Cognassist results if the learner hasn't been registered through Aptem API or is it like the Initial Assessment where you ideally need to use Aptem from the start?
That's correct. In order for the Cognassist results to be displayed in the Learning Support section of the Learner Profile this must be done via our API connection. If you wish to upload results that were conducted outside of Aptem you could consider using a Review and attach the details.
Is the IQA function fully operational on Console now?
IQAs can use the new Console view and use it to set up the 'QA Plan'. Later this year they will be able to carry out the full 'QA Process' in Console. Please see: Quality Assurance.
My learners can't see the criteria , is there a way they can see the criteria?
Yes - Firstly, ensure that this is enabled within the 'Learning Plan' token on the Programmes Template. As a default any Learner that has access to Console will see the criteria. If they cannot, then view their Learning Plan in Classic and check the 'Show to Learner' boxes against each component of their programme.
When can you move work/placements to new console and verified and verified hours?
We will update you with the latest roadmap in the coming weeks.
Please send me an email how to change it in settings in classic view or new view so the learners can see the criteria?
Firstly, ensure that this is enabled within the 'Learning Plan' token on the Programmes Template. As a default any Learner that has access to Console will see the criteria. If they cannot, then view their Learning Plan in Classic and check the 'Show to Learner' boxes against each component of their programme.
I'd like to have the newer version of Aptem. I still have the classic version.
Please have your system administrator enable the Allow access to Aptem Console role for your account.
Are you able to see a gap report?
Yes - This was covered on the webinar. Whilst pre-mapping, mapping evidence and through the component view on the learning plan you can toggle off criteria that have already been accepted.
Is it possible to submit more than one document? Currently having to use Zip folders for multipool documents within a module.
Evidence can be uploaded individually and then marked individually OR added as a .zip file which then means it can be marked collectively.
If you create a component as 'assignment' and the only action for the learner is to add a note, if 'evidence required' is ticked as 1 (the note) can this still be completed or, does the action of a note not require evidence to be uploaded?
A 'note' is classified as a piece of evidence. It's just a way of directly inputting text as evidence for marking. So, in your scenario you can set the minimum required to '1'.
You mentioned linking it to Skills Forward. What did you mean by this?
We have integrations for both BSKB and Skills Forward in relation to Initial Assessment and Diagnostic Assessments. Please contact your Customer Success Manager or our Support Desk if you require any further information.
