The following is a transcript of the questions asked during the webinar, along with the experts' answers. For any further information, do contact your IC or support.
Will we receive a recording of this session please, and where can we access previous webinar recordings and Q&A? Also when will the masterclasses be starting?
Yes, the recording and Q&A will be sent to you directly and will also appear in the Announcements>Webinars section of the Aptem helpdesk site along with the previous webinars. The Aptem customer summary for March 2021 has been sent out to you all and contains details of the planned webinar series and how to book.
Can the sub-programme learning plan be copied from another programme rather than building from scratch?
Yes you can clone a subprogramme in the same way you can clone an existing programme now.
If we have learners doing 2 qualifications can 1 be in the Sub Programme and 1 in the delivery
Yes - that's correct. If included in the delivery programme all learners will get the qualification. If included in the sub-programme only those learners with that sub-programme will get the additional qualification.
It would be great to preview the onboarding wizard before confirming without having to switch to and from the learner view.
This feature is something we have planned to include when we move the programme builder to the new user interface. We are hoping that this will be towards the end of the year.
Did I see something in the onboarding wizard where they can upload a document during this phase?
Yes, the 'File Upload' question type allows the learner to upload a document in response to a question and this can then be attached to an eligibility review for future reference/evidence. If we have time I'll raise it in the Q&A for you.
Where an EPAO has issued Standards with 'their own' referencing - could we submit these to MWS to have them added to the Standards library?
Yes. They should be submitted through support in the usual way.
Can previously made programmes eg, core and FS then allow the FS programme to be changed into a sub programme?
No, it is not possible to convert a programme from one type to another. New sub-programmes will need to be created.
Can you put use subprogrammes within subprogrammes?
This is not currently possible but a sub-programme can be as small or as large as you want and you add as many as you like for a learner.
I'd like to understand why other token's aren't available, is this because they are enabled in the delivery programme the sub programme sits under?
Tokens are enabled/disabled at the account programme-level which can be set by your Implementation Consultant or Support. Where enabled for your instance then you can enable and disable tokens at a programme-level where they are relevant/needed. For sub-programmes we have chosen only to enable the tokens indicated. This is because other tokens are not relevant on a sub-programme. Also as multiple sub-programmes can be added to a single learner it could result in conflicting results so for simplicity sub-programmes only uses: Competencies, Learning Plan, Reviews, ILR, Programme requirements.
The tutor assessed tick is not visible in create SCORM asset?
The tutor assessed checkbox is only available in forms, which you will need to select from the asset type drop down box. Once you select form, it will appear.
How does the copy answers work in forms? Does it pull through previous inputs such as behavioural reviews?
Each SCORM asset works independently of one another.
Does the system allow you to preview the content you have created to see how it looks from the learner perspective?
Yes, when creating SCORM assets you are able to preview the content that the learner will see.
