FAQ: In the new tutor console, what does the 'Off-The-Job Hours' report show?
In the New Tutor Console, when reviewing a learner, an 'Off-The-Job Hours' report can be seen which shows data similar to the example below.
Details of what each of these components show:
- Minimum Required
This is the calculation of the minimum required hours for the entire apprenticeship. - Planned
This is the planned hours recorded in the main aim of the ILR at enrolment for the entire apprenticeship. If not populated, this will show “ – “ - Completed
This is the total completed hours for the entire apprenticeship and is calculated by taking all the evidence belonging to the components in “Completed”/”Verified” status, where the evidence status is “Accepted”/”Verified” and summing the “off-the-job spent time”.
Any evidence that has a status of 'Referred' is not included.
Any evidence belonging to components that have no due date set, is included. - Forecast
This is the total of the "Completed" hours for the entire apprenticeship added to the planned hours for all the non-completed components for the entire apprenticeship - “A”
Shows the 'Planned' hours for that month by selecting all components with the due date matching the selected month and summing their “Planned hours” values .
Components where the status is “Completed”/”Verified” and the due date matches the selected month are included. - “B”
Shows the hours recorded during that month by selecting the evidence where “completion date” match the particular month AND evidence status is “Accepted”/”Verified” AND component status is “Completed”/”Verified” and sums the “off-the-job spent time”.
In addition, you will see an Overall Progress infographic that displays the progress of the learner with regard to the Off-the-Job Hours. The horizontal blue line indicates progress made in terms of percentage completion. The vertical line shows the target progress at the current point in time. The numbers on the right indicate the progress made - in terms of the percentage achieved, and the total completed hours for the entire apprenticeship.
