* Standard administrator - detailed description

Overview

'Standard administrator' is a basic administrator role.

When a new administrator is being created, there are three roles that are assigned by default:

  • Standard administrator (hidden role)
  • Manage Episodes
  • Manage Organisations

The roles 'Manage Episodes' and 'Manage Organisations' are optional roles and can be unassigned. But the 'Standard Administrator' role cannot be unassigned.

If you unassign all the optional roles, you will still have the 'Standard Administrator' (hidden role) even though the 'Assigned' column appears blank.

The following article lists the options that are available to a Standard administrator. Hence these options will be available to any administrator, irrespective of any additional roles they may have.

There are many additional and optional roles that can be assigned to client administrators. For a list of roles, see: List of Administrator roles. Note that the Standard administrator role is a hidden role, so it is not mentioned in this list. Also note that this role cannot be unassigned.

The actions that can be performed based on additional roles are covered in separate articles. For example, see: Supervisor - detailed description.

The list of options a Standard administrator has access to is grouped as follows:
