Completing a Checkpoint
Overview
As a learner, you can view a list of your currently available Checkpoints, and complete outstanding Checkpoints.
Navigating to your Checkpoints
1. Navigate to the "Outstanding Checkpoints" area under the Requires Attention card or click the flag icon on the top-right of your screen.
2. From the Checkpoint page, you will see a list of all your current available Checkpoints which you will find under the section titled “New Checkpoints”. This page will also show the date that a given Checkpoint became available, when it will expire, and the number of questions included.
If you have completed all outstanding Checkpoints, you will see a message that reads “No Checkpoints available”.
Completing a checkpoint
1. On the “Checkpoint” screen, select a Checkpoint to be completed. Select an item from the Checkpoints listed under the “New Checkpoints” section.
2. Click on the Start button to begin the chosen Checkpoint.
Note: Selecting the Stop Checkpoint button on the top-right of your screen or closing the Checkpoint at any point before completion will not save your progress. If you do not complete your Checkpoint, you will need to restart it in your next attempt.
3. Click Next to navigate through the questions. Above the question, you will see a visual and a numerical summary of the number of questions in the current Checkpoint and the progress made towards completing the Checkpoint.
4. Once you have completed all the Checkpoint questions and clicked Finish, you will see the 'Summary results' screen.
Note: If any questions have not been answered, you will be notified and you will need to go back to complete these before submitting.
Results Summary Screen
When you finish a Checkpoint, you can view your results in the summary screen.
This screen provides an answer breakdown and displays all the questions and answers, with a checkmark next to the correct answers and a warning symbol next to the incorrect answers. The questions are labelled 'Theory' or 'Scenario' based on the question type. Feedback on the reasoning behind correct and incorrect answers is also shown in this page.
2. Once you have reviewed your results, you can select Done to navigate back to your dashboard.
3. Navigating back to the “Checkpoint” screen will also allow you to view previously completed Checkpoints and access their historic data.
