FAQ: Why is a deleted SCORM Asset still visible to learners?

This issue could have been caused if the learner was already enrolled in the program when the original asset was added. Deleting and re-adding the asset does not remove the deleted version from the learner's interface. This is because new components added to a Learning Plan are pushed out to learners, while deleted components are not automatically removed.

Resolution:

  1. Access the learner's Learning Plan.
  2. Select "Edit" on the component corresponding to the deleted SCORM asset.
  3. Delete the component from the Learning Plan.

By removing the deleted version from the Learning Plan, learners already enrolled in the program should not see the outdated version.

Note

Please be sure not to delete a Component that users have already started/completed, as doing so may result in learners evidence and progress being lost.
