Q and A transcript
The following is a transcript of the questions asked during the webinar, along with the answers provided by product experts. For any further information, do contact your Implementation Consultant, Customer Success Manager or Aptem Support.
For FS, can the workshop evidence count towards progress but not OTJ?
It can count towards the progress of the Functional Skills qualification.
Can we add prerecorded videos to these components/workshops? If we can, how do we evidence they watched the recording please?
No, but you can use the digital learning component to add pre-recorded videos to the learning plan. In a digital learning component, Aptem will record the time the learner takes to watch the video.
When learners enrol onto a workshop, will they receive an email to block out in their calendar?
Learners receive an email to confirm their request is accepted, this workshop will automatically populate in the learner's calendar.
How do you connect Zoom to Aptem please?
If you have a Zoom licence, you can choose the "use zoom" at the top of the workshop settings on the Placements/Workshops tile. To request a Zoom licence, please contact your Implementation Consultant or Customer Success Manager.
Is there a way to change the date of a lesson on Aptem classic, without having to delete all the students and add them back again?
You can add additional dates should you wish. However, if you're switching dates, you would need to unenroll the students and enroll them on a new date.
If workshops don't contribute towards OTJ, can they still contribute toward progress and the progress card?
You must verify the hours down to 0 hours. That will mark that the learner had attended the workshops, so you can still evidence progress against the criteria.
