Will there be auto generated emails to let line managers know they have to approve trackers?

Yes, if they are assigned to the tracker, they will receive a notification.

Is the Skills Radar used to identify the number of hours which should be removed? Is this still a manual activity?

The Skills Radar will assess a learner's skills against your KSBs. You can use that as your own measure, to identify why you have adjusted the learning plan based on RPL. This is not automated - the RPL tracker isn't linked to the Skills Radar itself to calculate any adjustments in the background.
