Suitable for all Aptem users, this webinar covers the following areas:
- User Generic Report (UGR) and Organisation Generic Report (OGR) functionality.
- Using Aptem's in-built dashboards to monitor, report and support learner progress.
- Using dashboard drilldowns and filters for more detailed reporting.
- Using Signatures and Tracker grids in Console.
- Additional Aptem reporting tools, including PowerBI and OData, and recommendations on when these should be used.
Q and A transcript
The following is a transcript of the questions asked during the webinar, along with the answers provided by product experts. For any further information, do contact your Implementation Consultant, Customer Success Manager or Aptem Support.
How can test learners be removed?
If you require test learners to be removed, please contact your IC/CSM and they can arrange for test data to be removed.
Can employers see any overdue learning activities within learning plan?
Employers can see the overdue tasks in the requires attention card, but they cannot see the individual activities within the learning plan in detail.
Will manager login get the ability to see the learning plan in the future?
This is planned as part of future development into the employer console, but we do not yet have a planned delivery date for this product enhancement yet.
Does the name link pull through to a data export?
When you export the data, it won't be hyperlinked.
Is there a way to export the components overdue data out of Aptem in the same way you can get the 'requires signature' data out as a .csv file?
You can use the OData feed to export all learning plan components and their status e.g. overdue. If you are not currently using OData, please contact your IC or CSM who will be able to set up your OData feed and provide any support you may need with this.
Are test learners excluded from dashboard data?
Test learners will be included where they are allocated to an employer. If you require test data to be deleted, please contact your IC/CSM.
Caseload lifecycle learners do not match caseload summary. Should they match? Or what is the difference?
The caseload lifecycle and the caseload summary do report slightly different information as a learner can be both Active and within 30 days on programme. If you reach out to your CSM or your IC if in implementation, we can ensure that you receive the clarity you need on these statuses.
Within the signatures on Console, will there be a chance to see the ILR on there or just the compliance documents?
The ILR is visible in classic via the ILR tile.
Can you please explain what the trackers are tracking? I can see how to manipulate it, but what is the intent behind this please?
Trackers are used to perform a range of different activities within Aptem, and track the actions taken against a learner for audit purposes. For example, breaks in learning which would update your learner record and their ILR automatically when the process automation tracker is used. This allows for a much more streamlined process. If you require additional training on process automation trackers, please contact your IC or CSM who will be able to arrange this for you.
In trackers, I don't have the option to tick and export out. Would that be down to my permissions?
If you need to export data, you would need to have the Export data permission.
Where do we find and save the expected return date from a break?
You can log the expected return date in your break in learning tracker when you place a learner on a break.
How can I share a user generic report at a later date (not when I created it)?
You can choose when to share it, by clicking on save again and adding the shared function and removing this at a later date where required. You would need to select save as and check the box to share the report.
Will the Skills Rader/Scan be added to User Generic Report (UGR)?
The skills radar will not appear in the UGR, this is because UGR has a single line reporting, and Skills Radar has multiple lines due to the multiple scores to different categories or KSBs. The Skills Radar scores will be visible in OData which we will touch on later and in further webinars.
